We all like to look at and some times buy new gear but has anyone lost to another player and really believed it was because the other player had better clubs.I like to think they work harder than me or worse still they have more natural ability. :D

The clubs may not be suited to a particular swing, ie. shaft, offset, swing weight etc. But at the end of the day it's the person holding the bats that makes the real difference. That's what I like about golf compared to my yacht racing days. With golf, it's only ever my fault.

In my younger days I'd always look for an excuse and couldn't believe I had got beat. That is when maturity and humility comes and there are simply times when the better man wins whatever make and model they use.

About 10 years ago I lost a singles match to a guy who had better gear and I can honestly say I lost due to my inferior equipment .... how do I know?

The day before the tie I sold my set of Cobra graphites and went to buy a set of DCI 981's but the guy was on holiday so I had to use my WIFES half set of Argos rejects.

Yep, it isn't formula 1. If you can play, you can play with any thing.

So how many on here use The Big EzzE irons and the K1 Driver

If only my clubs were THAT good

I can hit anything provided it doesn't have a ladies shaft or some kind of weight bias. My irons are so bad I probably wouldn't be able to give them away... didn't stop me winning yesterday (played skins and it was 9,7,2 in my favour).

Nothing wrong with an excuse if it is a justified excuse, the above doesn't qualify as an excuse, more a whining defeatest.
