EuroDisney !

Possibly the most fun holiday you will ever have, certainly if you have kids. We didn't go to the parks every day, plenty of other things to do, but when we did we loved it. We didn't stand in lots of queues, okay we ate a fair amount of junk, and having pictures with Disney characters was a blast. Would go again like a shot. Don't knock it until you've tried it.

Nothing like a bit of culture eh? Why pay to stand in queues and get frustrated, then feed your kids junk. Wouldn't taking them skiing or scuba diving, or other activities while embracing real local culture be more beneficial than getting a selfie with Mickey Mouse and Ronald McDonald?

Because they are Kids !!! They enjoy & want pictures with Mickey mouse & gang ,they enjoy roller coasters , they enjoy the magic of it ..

The park is amazing , the kids had a ball . ok there are a few downsides , prices & Q's , kids didnt even notice either of them with the excitement ..

happy kids = happy holidays = happy memories =happy families , priceless ..

They can do the rest when the magic of childhood disappears

Just my thoughts tho we are all different

Oh, an another thing, at Universal there is a ride called Men in Black, brilliant ride, shoot at things as you go round, but when we go on it my son gets out of his wheelchair and on the ride, and we leave the wheelchair at the start of the ride. On completion of the ride we have to go and get his WCH which is at the start of the ride, about 3 meters away though some curtains. On retrieval we can see there is no queue and the ride operators usually ask if we want another go, er......YOU BETCHA !!!! Straight back on. Round and round five times on the bounce !!!!!!!! Then we got asked if we want to go INSIDE the ride bit where all the monsters are, that you can see as you walk around the queuing bit. We took photos with them and got to sign the visitors book that Disney have for people who get to see this bit. Do I sound excited??????? It was awesome !!!!!! Wifey was a little miffed when we bounced out ages later, she decided to miss out this ride as she doesn't like it !!!!!!!!!!!!!

CF - I liked that ride, great stuff. The parks really look after people in wheelchairs or with other needs. I had a friend who had a son with a brain tumour. They went to EuroDisney via a charity that helps families with ill children get away on holiday. They had special passes and were treated like kings all day. Nothing was too much trouble. I saw this repeatedly in Florida as well, Disney and Universal. In a chair, front of the queue sir. Not patronising, they just want you to have the best time of your life. Not a lot wrong with that attitude when you think about it.

Sometimes you don't jump the queue, you are ushered to a less busy place in the ride and have to wait like everyone else. But, yes, they look after anyone with disabilities.

Alton Towers on the other hand, current events aside as well, blurgh !!!!!! Horrible place except for the Train Ride "Chooo choooooooooo" (said with real fairground husky voice):D

That's unfair I think. My kids are lucky enough to have been to lots of different countries and experienced different things already. We'll sky dive, swim with manatees and go to the everglades aswell during this trip, if that meets your criteria better, Mr Snobbyholidaybore
