popular rides are upwards of 45 min q's, for a couple of mins ..

biq q's for photos with the characters etc.

Glad we did it now & the kids had a ball , night time light show was magnificent ,

Any of ya been ? or even the real one in USA ?

What was your experience

P.s God bless the Brits & Irish we met , ya can keep the French, German & Spanish after this ha

Sure have. Twice and are planning another trip once Star Wars has been built. Not much to beat it. We go in November, when kids are off, weather is MUCH better, queues are A LOT LESS. My son uses a wheelchair and this gets us past most queues that are there as Disney have a special entrance to each ride for users. We take our own food in with us. I will say though that the Disney parks seem to be getting to be cost prohibitive and we may just go to Universal as the cost for entrance is massively cheaper. Although it may increase when they put in Star Wars ride. :(

Same experience, found the most rude people were the continental europeans, when we went my eldest daughter was princess mad so got an autograph book. Some parents were physically pushing her out of the way and pushing there kids forward. I am amazed i didnt remove a shoe and beat some of them to a slow bloody death with my size 10 loafers.

Agree its a magical place, the kids loved it, but it is sooooo expensive. I met my new best mate Jamie Redknapp there, top bloke!

My lad is StarWarsmad mate , loved the simulator and cost me a fortune in the shop but sure what the heck , that's what its all about ,

the fast pass is a good system you can book a half hour slot for the fast q , and you can only book one per ticket at any given time

Phew , thought it was just me thought that ha ha

I think the trick is to look on the net for French school holidays and look for a few days when they are at school and we aren't. We found this last year in the first few days of Sep, and had a great day out with modest queues. Stayed in central Paris and got the RER train out from The Arc de Triomphe right to the gates of Disneyand.

Been 3 times and heading over again in 4 weeks.
It is expensive and full of rude continentals but worth it for the kids. The characters used to do stints in the disney hotels which was a good way of getting pics and autographs. They have stopped it now so we have booked a character breakfast one morning. Found that studios was a better place to get to see characters although the queue for spiderman was long.

2nd time we went a group of teenagers barged they way past our 2 year old for a picture and then asked for me to take it! They never got there picture and I was called some choice words. :D

Echo all the above. Disney in Florida is fantastic. Pre book the key rides and plan ahead your route, within reason, and you will have no problems. We went Easter 2014 and never queued for more than 15 minutes for a ride. The queuing system is set up brilliantly and somehow they seem to keep you moving so you don't mind the wait. They organised the character pictures better than at Euro Disney so you were not fighting with badly behaved horrors pushing in front of your well behaved kids, yes I am still bitter although proud of my own. My kids had pictures with all of the characters in Florida, no problems at all. I don't remember being horribly stung in Florida but sometimes you just have to suck it up and not let prices ruin your day. Hand over the cash, don't look at the change given and just move on.

If you are ever going to go to Florida use this website. http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/ We did and found it invaluable. Frankly if I could afford it we would be back again this year.

I went to Florida the week before Thanksgiving. Weather still fine and did not have to queue for a single ride. In fact I could walk off the ride and get back on again some days. Islands of Adventure was the favourite for me but not sure how that works now that Disney own Marvel and the rights to some of the characters that they have designed rides around.

Been to Florida a couple of times and loved it, only problem are the Mexicans who have one person in the queue, then 15 family members miraculously appear from nowhere as he's about to go in!

We made the kids very happy by going to McDonalds every single meal for the 4 days we were there. Well that's after we paid £50 for chicken/chips/coke from one of the 'Disney' outlets. McD's probably saved us £400 if not more.... and I love McD's, which helps :p

We were there few weekends ago and it was very busy, stayed onsite and had breakfast at the hotel, we spent around 1600 euro but we let the kids buy things as we don't plan to do it again. That's on top of the pre booked meal with characters and rodeo show!!
Kids liked it a lot but oldest said it was too much walking. 75-90 min waits for some rides that lasted very little time. I wasn't overly impressed but then I'm grumpy.
But to be fair the shows and parade, fire work display etc were fab, and staff were great. Glad we did it but won't be back if I have owt to say about it :)

We went to Florida last year and have done EuroDisney a little while before - wouldn't go back to either now but they were fun but exhausting. The Florida one has a system where you pre-book times on certain rides, but there is no guarantee on times or the rides. Therefore, you could choose the one you really wanted to go on at 11.00am but it would automatically select two other rides at, say 3pm and 4pm. You could re-book, but only after you had taken the three that were booked originally. Meant lots of Iphone use and organisation....but it did cut down on wait times.

EuroDisney was not a pleasant experience - the wait for rides was interminable not helped by the constant pushing in and blatant barging past of others in the queue - typically French/Spanish teenagers and families.

Fire works & lightshow were special , We were advised that if we wanted to go see Paris we should do it on the Sat . so we did that , it gets busy with the day trippers at weekend

Ignorant lot , only way is to be the same with them , makes for a bad experience tho

Been to Disneyland Paris a couple of times and the kids loved it. Saved up last year and we're doing Orlando this October. Doing everything...Disney,Universal, Discovery Cove, Halloween Horror Night...everything. The cost of the holiday for 18 days including all the passes, then adding on spending money for a family of 5 is quite astonishing, verging on the disgusting, but we're only going once so we might as well do it properly.
