If you believe the ratings on 100 best courses website, Orsett is meant to be the 2nd best course in Essex. Not had the pleasure of playing the top 2 yet, being Thorndon Park and Orsett.

I think I have played Ilford before, is that where the clubhouse and course are on seperate sides of the A406 and cross a bridge to get too?

I played there the third time i'd ever played a course and had a nightmare!!!! I was more worried about hitting others with my tee shots as some of the holes criss cross if i remember correctly. And one hole where the green was on the other side of the river with a massive flag. Couldnt see where i was aiming lol! Would deffo like to play there again, conquer an old enemy so to speak
