I tend to listen to music nowadays as a trigger to bring back memories [good and bad] in the way some folk use photos...

Best of Bread at present... Would constantly have them playing on my 8 track, in the transit, back in the day...

I'd like to see some Pink Floyd, Marillion, Rush and I'd offer up Fish (well I would) in there too

Only just seen this thread and was going to offer early Marillion stuff (pre-Hogarth) as a suggestion. Having said that, Season's End was bearable and Brave being the best of the Hogarth era. Dabbled a little with Fish solo stuff, but haven't invested enough time.

Saw ELO mentioned - seriously good music. Jeff Lynne massively underrated as a writer.
Also, you can't dismiss a bit of Madness.
I'd also like to throw in Def Leppard - Hysteria. Fantastically produced album.

Going off at a tangent, recently discovered Absolute 80's radio station...
You won't hear a single repeated song* on a given day and they play some of the forgotten fantastic tunes from the best era in music!

They are running a comp at the moment where 1 song is repeated and if you identify it, you could win a prize.
