Are ESR of -2 automatically applied? I thought they were. Are there any circumstances where this doesn't happen?

We have a differential of 9.0 yesterday against a HI of 19.1, and ESR of only -1 automatically applied. Should be -2 surely?

You need a differential of 10 or more to get the 2 shot exceptional adjustment. It's happened automatically for us. Not sure why yours hasn't.

Was the score differential of 9.0 including the ESR of 1? That would mean the original score was only 9.1 different and therefore a -1 ESR is correct.

The actual SD achieved was 10.0, triggering an ESR of 1.0 for a score between 7 and 10 better than handicap.
This ESR is then included and the SD is displayed as 9.0.

Of course. I knew that. Don’t know why I didn’t do a quick calculation to check the figures.
Thanks for the replies.
