Equipment test panel

Mike, can you let me know how much the 2 types of ball are going to retail for so as I can work out what they are competing with and compare accordingly. Would email direct but the address is on my computer at work

Mine arrived first thing Saturday morning. Have already taken the 'Freak' balls out for 9 holes and first signs are quite promising. Never thought I would be saying that about a Topflite ball. Very similar to Warbirds. Will give the 'Gamer' balls a try when I go out tomorrow.

GB72 what woeful names for a ball--FREAK & GAMER--Great to see you have started your research-you would not have played in Dublin this morning courses closed due to severe frost.

Agreed but probably looking at the younger side of the market and if Nike can sell balls called Mojo, Juice and Karma who is to say that these may not appeal.

Weather was great for gof in Rutland, cold but sunny. Just cold enough to keep the course quiet. Hopefully will hold for tomorrow so as can give the 'Gamer' balls a try.

GB72 enjoy if you get playing tomorrow.I suppose name does not matter if the product is first class.

Played yesterday beautiful dry but vold morning only 4 other groups spotted on the course--heavenly experience.

Driver arrived tonight at 6pm.
Was delivered to the neighbours for some reason this afternoon and they just dropped it round. Ill maybe get to the range some point this week then use it next weekend (basically so I've had time to get acquainted) instead of my Srixon,
Mike, ive sent you an email matey.

My wedge arrived at 7:30 am on Saturday. Played nine holes the same day and used it maybe 3 times. Makes a funny noise for a forged club, and didnt feel as soft as my current TM RAC. Stopped quite quick though, but that might have been something to do with the soft wet greens :)

Awww now youve spoiled the review!

By the replies received 4 testers GB72, Junior, Brendy and Madandra have received their test products. Junior has written his first draft review.
Happy testing to all.

Just to let the testers know the taylormade burner driver just arrived-first impressions good looking club.

Looking forward to testing the big dog shortly.

My neighbours just received some new Wilson irons - they look great. Still wouldn't change for my Mizuno MP23's; or my Taylor Made Burner - fancy a new 3 wood however!
