Entry to Open competitions

I am keen to enter some open competitions but nearly all of them appear to require entry by a pair rather than an individual. Is there any way round this?

PS my handicap is 20 and age 62

Welcome to the forum Charles, I play in a lot of senior opens mainly in central Scotland. I use the WEE YELLOW BOOK, it has lots of individual comps.

Have a look on golfempire.co.uk and look for some individual opens rather than pairs ones....plenty out there :thup:

no they're not! tons of individual Opens as well. Golfempire lists lots but check your local courses for their Snr Open as well as individual Opens
