entertaining threads

Hi all
Just thought I remark about how much I'm enjoying the forum, there have been some really entertaining threads lately, particularly from HomerJSimpson, haplesshacker etc.. oh and me!!!
It makes the end of the day finish with a smile

Thanks very much for that, nice to see you back. To me forums are as much about entertainment as they are informative. It's great to see so many newbies and first time posters on some of these threads. So come on guys, don't be shy get involved. Okay so sometimes it gets a little heated, well it seems to now anyway (oops!) but no harm is meant. Now I just got to think of some other thread!!

Thanks for that Barb. Glad we are making you smile. Have to say I have been surprised by the range of opinions on all the topics lately (including my confessional).

BTW I'm working on another blog to follow up my first one (first forum member to have one published way back when last year!!!)

Credit where credit is due, I think everyone helps make the forum entertaining and the diversity of opinions I find amazing, Though I have to say realgolferuk does help in the entertainment stakes with his on course challenges (trolley tackling, I'm not sure this sport will take off )

Barb, sadly I took out two that were "fidgeting" on the first tee about a week later. The Captains and the H'cap sec!
The men in white coats caught up with me by the turn.

You'll be pleased to know I spent a very pleasant two rounds with our friend realgolferuk (or Dave to his friends). Once alone in a nice 2 ball and the second in exalted GM company.

I am pleased to report that both times the rounds passed of without incident and that he contrary to popular misconception he is fully house trained and can tie his own laces!!!

He was in fact a very funny guy to play with (you should offer him a game) and has a wickedly dry sense of humour where it becomes hard to differentiate the truth from one of his shaggy dog story's
