France the better side but England worthy of a point for a good defensive performance. Maybe too early to judge but I don't think either team will be making much impact on the later stages.

Whilst I agree I think the team becomes a different proposition in an attacking sense when Rooney comes back into it.
Solid display. Acceptable but nothing to get excited about.

Yes, I agree with that too. England should manage to get out the group but will need to add more ball possession and a bit of creativity to go much beyond that. Not sure if Rooney will be enough.

I thought it was a good performance. Given that we had a new manager and a lot of youngsters I think they did very well. They showed passion, commitment and pride - something missing from recent teams.
I thought the football they played at times was very good. The did look nervous at times as well but that's understandable.
I think it bodes well for the next two games.
Hopefully, in the next game, we'll have a ref who isn't on the payroll of a Mr M Platini.. :angry:

As its the Euro's all the referees are on his payroll?
I thought it was a boring display, too many backwards passes, Oxlaide Chamberlain didnt make much of an impact, and Milner was utter garbage. Still, I'm happy with a draw, hopefully get 2 wins out of our next 2 games and get into the 1/4 finals.
