we play morlais castle in merthyr tydfil
lots of ups and downs

I enjoyed Morlais! Played Wayfarers there, good bunch of lads!

In addition to those I said, Dartmouth is fun, China Fleet is good after a weakish opening.

living in the Midlands and played most the courses I think you would be silly to come to Arden/Warwickshire etc when you could go down south. So many options in Cornwall/Devon etc. Arden is ok but nothing special really

Belton Woods? Hotel is good and the courses are fine with 2 x 18 holes.

Closer than I thought but maybe pushing his 3 hour range a bit, depends on where in South Wales they are.

How about Bowood? I've not played there myself, but it was recommended to me in another post and would have if I could have got a slot booked back in September.
