So they are offering me a gas tariff of >6p fixed until end April 2023 without mentioning that there is a price cap of 4p if I do nothing…?

Not found anyone to beat EON yet, very happy also far.
Share your frustration as I am with Sainsbury’s Energy and I think EON are involved. What I need and possibly you is the installation of the facility for them to read the meter online. i have been trying for this for 18 months’ without success. Problem solve for the future but not the past!I was with Igloo and got an email from EON last month saying they were my new supplier. Got another email from them yesterday saying they had been unable to set up my DD and didn't have any info on how much credit I had with Igloo. Logged on, set up the DD, and saw that, despite not having any meter readings, I owe them £231. No idea how they came up with that, but not a great start.
EDF "offered" me their new fixed rate of nearly £4k a year.. Well over double what I'm currently paying. Err, no thanks.
Sadly, only alternative is to move onto their variable, just the £1k more than current.![]()
Well under £60 per month for gas. Shame they seem to have forgotten that I'm a dual fuel customer...
BULB now no longer.
That’s what I paid with bulb for September and October. The current cap (for October 2021 to April 2022) is 21 per KwH for electricity and 4p per kWh for gas.
Not sure if that helps you but that's the highest they can charge you if you ride this out
That’s what I paid with bulb for September and October.
Is there any price capping on standing charges, or can that be used to increase costs?

So nothing to do with Brexit, but a rise in energy prices across the whole of Europe and the rest of the world, not just those in the EU?
Surely we would be still be using the same amount of energy perhaps even reduce emissions, but cheaper from a different supplier, without having to import .When you commit to a project of reducing emissions and have to shut North sea off.. they have to stick to plan
Main issue is because it's not nationalised we suffer and not them at these times
Russia ?So nothing to do with Brexit, but a rise in energy prices across the whole of Europe and the rest of the world, not just those in the EU?
Yep. Last I heard they weren't in the EU. Anyone blaming us leaving the EU for the rise in prices needs their head read.Russia ?
