Playing very averagely until September. Only managed to string 4 or 5 decent rounds together all year.

5) 2013 highlights? Playing at West Hill H4H

6) 2013 lowlights? 5 putting the 9th green on saturday in the medal cost me the comp.

Taking until September to learn how to hit a ball properly. Either that or destroying Williamalex1 at matchplay and someone ending up all square after 18. He held the pencil.

bad 2 seasons trying everything for a fix- no reason I could see, pro's had differing opinions but no 'cure'........

5 min vid from the TPI affirmed the issue and almost instant fix............:whoo:

6) 2013 lowlights? Handicap increase and not getting the changes to click as quickly as I wanted. Chipping game still AWOL

Overall I am pleased despite this that the swing is progressing and finally getting there

5) 2013 highlights? The round for the handicap cut of 1.5

6) 2013 lowlights? most of the summer when I couldn't hit a coo's erse with a cricket bat. Fortunately now cured.

I'd say it's been decent year:

3) Competition wins? 2 Divisional wins, 1 Texas Scramble & 3 scratch league matches

4) Handicap gone up or down? Down by 0.4

5) 2013 highlights? Playing Woodhall Spa - the Hotchkin is a top draw course.

6) 2013 lowlights? The standards at my, soon to be ex, home course. Ridiculous length rough & poorly kept greens.

Home club Pro - Am, fair few seconds and places (mainly in 'fun' events)

4) Handicap gone up or down?
Up 0.2 from Jan 1st this year to 3.0. Have been up to the dizzy hights of 4.1 though!

5) 2013 highlights?
Benross - Be our tour pro days. Unreal! Enjoyed myself too much though!
Salisbury and South Wilts Summer Shootout - The best event in golf!
Hard to seperate the two.

6) 2013 lowlights?
Started the year in very poor form which ran on from the three/four months previous, found myself not wanting to play let alone hit the range. Finding my game again now and feeling better so getting back to where I should be, hopefully I can carry that in to next year on my way to taking over the world.
Also lost in the final of our foursomes knockout. The Golfing Gods made their mind up about the winners of that and hopefully have bigger plans for me!!

1) How many courses have you played in 2013?

Not many this year. Club membership meant i was pretty much on my home course for the duration bar maybe a Dozen trips out around the north west.

Moving on next year to pastures new and i cant wait.

2) How many NEW courses have you played this year?

Bit ashamed to say this but only two new courses. Silverdale in Carnforth and Chorley.

3) Competition wins?

None officially. However i did come joint first in the open at my place (43 points), only to come in 3rd place on a card playoff to two more "established" members than I.........

4) Handicap gone up or down?

Pretty stationary to be honest. Think i can get down to my target of 15 by July time with a bit of work.

5) 2013 highlights?

Ace'ing the par three 15th at my place. Some feeling that i can tell you. It hit it a cracker too, so it was extra special to see it drop.

I also hit a drive 352 yards (measured with GPS) on the par 5 8th at my place. Felt like billy big kahunas

6) 2013 lowlights?

Getting a 13 on the par 5th 8th (yes thats right...a 13) by tin cupping more than a few approaches into the woods. All of them were shanks too.

Only saving grace is that they occurred on a different day than my longest drive above.
