Electric trollies

This probably sounds like a really stupid question to most so I apologise in advance but what do electric trollies do apart from hold your bag? By that I mean what's the difference between something like a motocaddy and just a standard trolley... How big a difference is the battery?

No need to pull/push uphill so you expend less energy and effort during a round. If you adjust the speed wrong this isn't always true as you could find yourself running to catch it.

Having just gone from an electric trolley back to a pull trolley due to the death of the leccy one, i can honestly say that leccy trolles are a godsend but pull trolleys keep you fitter! Also i hate to see Juniors with leccy trolleys, its just not right, all the advantages of youth but lazy with it!

Pushing a trolley or having a motor do it for you is easier on your back than pulling. The twisting motion you have to make to pull a trolley can do serious harm to your back. That's why I push...
