I would normaly say, you get what you pay for regarding quality. With the price bracket your quoting, i'd be suprised if they were very good. If I was looking to replace mine now, I would seriously look at the GoKart. It's a little bit more than the 100 - 150 you quoted, but for £200 it looks good, and has had some cracking reviews on here.

Woudl agree, for an extra £50 the GO-kart is a very safe choice. The Customer service really is second to none. For example, I enquired as to the cost of a new battery as mine was dying after less than 18 holes. Was told that the battery should not be losing life already and new one was on my doorstep 243 hours later at no cost.

There was a guy on Ebay, recently, selling Gokart trolleys which had been reconditioned by the manufacturer, for £140. Only downside is that they were all in that awful 'Snotter Green' colour. :D

I bought a trolly for £130. It lasted 7 months before the battery and switch both quit on me. A friend also bought one at the same time, after he replaced the battery (£50 delivered) he has not had too much bother. It does stop every so often, quick turn off and it works again.
For me I bought a Motocaddy and will never look back!!

All in the trolly cost £200 with the battery and other bits he has bought - perhaps not the bargin we originally thought.

I did look at these some months ago before I bought one from GoKart. The reason was that by the time you add carriage in, there wasn't much difference in price.

Once your listed on GoKarts database, then phoning up for the replacement wheels etc is a piece of cake. No questions asked.

He doesn't charge any extra for delivery. It's £140 all-in.

Yep, does look like a good deal. Just a shame they are only available in green!

All joking apart I'd order one if I had the cash, but have just been advised at work that redundancy is looming, so my arse is out the window. :(

Here's the link to the Ebay seller I mentioned:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/The-GoKart-Electri...A1%7C240%3A1318

That deal looks good.

I think it must be the manufacturer moving on reconditioned/repaired units.

Think I would rather spend the extra £60 with the company than risk problems in the future with someone on EBay, thats just me though.

That was the whole point of my post..I don't think he is "just some bloke off ebay" look where he's based..Kent. Where is the manufacturer based? Kent

I would hazzard a guess that this IS the manufacturer, refurbishing loaned/returned/replacement trolleys and moving them on through ebay.

Plus there offering 1 years gaurantee

I know, he has been selling them for years on there, the last time the GoKart came up about 6 months ago on the forum I linked to his EBay page.

Just to let you know that GoKart have recently increased their warranty on new trolleys to two years. Might be worth paying the extra £60.00 or so to reap the benefit and know that you are the only person ever to have used it?
I have one and think they are the poodles noodles...and don't worry about the "snotty" green. When your bags loaded up, you can't see it....

You might not be able to see it Smiffy when you are driving it, but it sure as hell puts your playing partners off
