Efa cup

Still almost more than the sum that watched Hibs's last Home and Away games!

I believe that FA Cup ticket prices are in addition to Season Ticket ones, so in recession - and with terrestial TV showing it - fewer attend than League games (last one was 15K)

I think that's the answer.

In today's tight financial times who's going to pay £20+ to see their team get walloped in a cup that they're never going to win anyway?

Plenty do so in league football.

Cup football is dying a death in the UK,both FA Cups are not the draw they used to be,that cannot be disputed you just need to look at the figures.

It might not be what it was, but I'm still chuffed that we're into the 6th round. We took about 2k to Huddersfield. That 2k represents about 15% of our home support. I think that's fairly decent for a televised game. To be fair, I wouldn't care if people thought that our support was poor. I support my home town team. Would people prefer it if everyone supported one of the big clubs?

Great result, as you say who gives a hoot when you are winning! Good luck in the next round.

Pilsner Urquell originates from Plzen does it not?

Owned by Germans according to my tour guide info last year.

Oops. Agreed.

Wasn't mentioned in The Open 'Patrons' on the R&A Site. I wonder why! Mind You BBC doesn't mention Bud either. Must be an agreement there too.

Its all because UEFA killed off the Cup Winners Cup to line the pockets of the "big" teams of Europe. UEFA killed a money spinner for many a team by creating the Champions League and the UEFA Cup League stages.
