found out why nandos arent coming up.. even though nandos are tweeting out that they are part of the deal if you go onto their site only 10 sites are open to eat in

shame im going southampton for golf tuesday would have been a nice quick meal before heading back

Went for our first meal out a few days ago.

Pretty much just like pre-lockdown but with more spaces between tables.

I was expecting an alien experience but it really wasn’t.

In some ways the social distancing could have been much better.

I'd have thought Nandos want as many restaurants open as quick as possible, that's quite surprised me they only have 10 currently open.

Also just wondering am I the only person in UK that finds them hugely over priced for bang average food. Everyone i know raves about though.

Price wise I think it's the going rate these days , but the drinks are overpriced for sure

The 10 surprised me. My local ones are all delivery and collection only so they are open they just Wont let u come in

Maybe their making enough? Or because it's popular with the youth worried social distancing won't be respected

I've been quite impressed with them since the missus started just before lockdown.
They were quite quick to close to the public whilst cooking all remaining stock to supply quite a few free meals to the NHS.

From what I've been told. Since they introduced the delivery and takeaway options they've been getting pretty consistent figures and are more interested in doing whats best than squeezing the last few £££.

All staff now on flexi furlough. With quite a few happy to just get 80% it would seem, so they don't feel obliged to get all staff back as plenty don't want to be back yet.

They are known as “Scrawny Chicken Place” in my social circles.

There's a dozen or so of our regular local places on the list - including several of our favourites. Only thing is, we already go regularly enough, so I'm not sure we can go even more frequently? But if it encourages others ...

I've been told from my Landlord I can come in multiple times a day. No shame here!
