Ealing Golf Club - Greens every golf course should aspire too

Not relevant as such but just a little bit of trivia.

That fits! Being pretty much deaf, he wouldn't have minded the noise from the A4. Wonder if it inspired any of 'The Nineteenth Hole'?

Greens certainly good, but course just a little scruffy to be top notch imo. Several different 'rooms' of holes means it doesn't flow well either, but some rather good holes all the same.

Yeah I agree with this 100%. Amazed me how they got the holes into such a small place
 
Couldn't believe how dry our greens had become. Hadn't played my course for a fortnight and they've changed and quickened. Nowhere near Ealing speed but a decent pace for the time of year and nice and true. Doesn't matter what pace they are wherever you play as long as they run true
