Anybody use their kit....
I was in heatons yesterday which have Sportsworld upstairs....Im not sure if they are accross the pond im pretty sure they are a UK company and to be honest they have some pretty nice dunlop clothing....

In this day and age shillings are pretty hard to come by and wanting to look smart on the course can put a fair dent in your wallet if you by into brands.....

Im not one for labels anyway i think the whole lot is just that........ labels....I had a Dunlop Polo shirt in my hand yesterday and held it up with a Nike one and an Adidas one and i couldn't see any difference in quality except for the labels....I could have bought 3 of the Dunlops for the same price as 1 of the others.

They even had thermal gear which was the shiny stretchy material with the Dunlop logo embroidered onto the high neck...
Sleeveless Jumpers, Rain gear that even looked like the new FJ stuff with the storm proof zips....

I don't own any (yet) but saw a load of their gear in sports direct, and as you rightly point out, it looks very very good!

I own a pair of the black pin stripe "collection" trousers that cost around £12. They are awesome. No need to iron and really comfortable. Look alright on too.

The "posher" shirts (i.e. the ones made from the "shiny" material with the embroidered logos and stuff) seem decent quality to me also.

I have found the gear to be really good. Cant go wrong with sportsdirect.com at the moment. They sell trousers for £7 I cant even get a sandwich crisps and drink on my lunch for that... Even if you bin them after a few rounds its less than your green fees/beer in the bar after 1 round.

They are the ones i held against the so called Big 2 Aztecs......I couldn't tell any difference....

I think as the lads above have mentioned Sports direct is probably the same company as Sportsworld here in Ireland.
I even thought the Pants were good quality....Seemed nice and generous...As well as having decent width in the ends.....I hate pants with skinny ends when im golfing.

Maybe you boys will recognize the website.................http://www.sportsworld.ie/

I too wear solely Dunlop!

There Dunlop collection shirs (Darren Clarke & Westy wore this a couple of years back , and still do) is now down to £6 a shirt (guessing a new line will be out soon) . Decent quality, doesn't shrink and doesn't look tacky at all.

The Pinstripe trousers are also great value, 2 pairs for £15! They have a new range out in june, with such lovely colours as "masters" Green, Pink, Purple, Red, Blue and White!!!

There knitted tops are great, the waterproof/windproofs tops do as there advertised. For a footjoy set of waterproofs, you could get a whole nuw Dunlop sponsored wardrobe!!!! lololol

I have no problem with Dunlop kit, trousers especially are pretty good. I used to buy the shirts but them moved on to Woodworm ones. 3 for £24 and every bit as good as the Nike Drifit ones that cost the same for one shirt.

Sorry but they dont. It is all custom stuff with Dunlop logo stitched to it just like Lee's UPS logo etc that is on his shirt. I know this as I am studying Golf at College and a chap from the Tour came in for a talk and told us. What you see is not always what it seems. Having said that I have had their shirts in the past and they do not feel bad on at all, however mine shrunk in the wash so on that basis I wouldn't buy again. Don't know about the other stuff

I have a pair of the Dunlop pinstripe trousers, they were £15 'reduced' from £50. now i wouldnt pay £50 for them, but for £15 they are excellent value!! will def be getting more

Currently wearing a pair of black Dunlop trousers from the 2 for £15 deal. They are so comfy but light and easy to clean I use them for work. (Nurse so a lot of moving around). Getting some of the pinstrip ones with taylored finish this month.

The shirts with printed logos on the breast and vear comfy but the logo wears off in the wash. At the price though you can simply get a new one without a second though.

Sportworld (or Sportsdirect this side of the border) also carry some Greg Norman tops which are very good for hot days. Nice and breathable. The Slazenger polos are also great value for money and some of the birghter colour combos really look sharp, if you have the game to carry them that is.

Dont like the shirts as they shrunk in the wash so ill stick to my Nike ones. The trousers are brilliant value for money though and I have a few black ones and a nice pair of pinstripes as well.

Great value kit you can't go wrong with at the price they charge although you would never pay the marked original price for it. That said it very rarely isn't on clearance sale!

Im a total brand whore when it comes to clothing (and life when thinking about it) and just can't bring myself to buying dunlop on past experiences/reputation. On ebay and with tesco/ag vouchers it brings other brands into the equation and for me thats what I buy simply because i think they look and feel better. But hey its your money and opinions

I'm happy enough with the Dunlop gear I have. To me a shirt is a shirt and I couldn't care less whether I get it from Asda or the pro shop. What I am bothered about is that if I were to spend 30 quid on say a Ping shirt (other mis-leading brands are available) that'd be £20 more than a Dunlop one and £20 less for green fees. At the level I play at all the modern 'technology' doesn't make a great deal of difference.

i like to dress up for golf and wear the latest colours and styles, i tend to buy stromberg pants, nice fit ,comfy and last for years, for shirts i like to wear ashworth,fj or oscar j,i got 2 dunlop shirts as a present from my nephew and they just didn't feel right the collar was a bit stiff around my neck and the material felt thick i wear them when working in the garden now.

Stromberg are quality mate you'll not go wrong with them as are Oscar J but their gear is a little pricy to say the least.
