Dunlop Apparel.

Stromberg are quality mate you'll not go wrong with them as are Oscar J but their gear is a little pricey to say the least.
it all depends on what you think is expensive,if i pay £65 for a pair of trousers and wear them say 2 times a month for two years that is not to expensive, same as shirts i pay between £35-£45 for them and the same equation makes them cheap in comparison to having to buy inferior quality clothes every 6 months, and as i stated i personally can feel the difference and don't really wish to be uncomfy for 4 hours when playing, but everyone is different and i'm glad we are or else it would be a sad world.

Staggered by this. Their polo shirt styles are actually nicer than a lot of the Nike and Adidas designs that I had been eyeing up at almost four times the price. And I am very, very tempted to go for the pro jacket at £29.99, as much as I scoff at the idea of it being reduced from £150.

It may be of interest to know that the SportsDirect Group (SportsWorld etc.) actually now own Dunlop Sport. No aspersions to be cast from that but I figured it may be of interest to somebody.

All in all, Dunlop gear looks like the way to get kitted out without breaking the bank. Ideal for me.

Not knocking it mate far from it I have stuff from both brands you mention and it is quality stuff. It is the intial outlay that put people off from buying it. When in reality it is a superior quality product and lasts longer and washes better

I have some Dunlop waterproof over-trousers.....got to say they are excellent and cost me £11.99.

purchased 4 Dunlop tops last night, for the same price as 1 Nike TW shirt. Not to fussed about brands now really, just something that is comfy to wear. I guess I'll find out in the next few weeks if it is or not!

I am going to look at trousers in person though, as I like to try and get a good fit, rather than guessing by sizes online!

I'm heading down there today,I saw them the other day but kids were in tow, looked very nice, may buy some trousers and shirts.DO they do boats as well bloody rain grrr!

They've definitely upped their game in terms of both style and quality. I, too, have a pair of the pin stripes and really like them.

I think i might have the 2 for £15 trousers in every colour. Cant beat it!!
Aswell as the dunlop shirts i have a few of the slazenger ones they do. 2 for £8 iirc.

Just make sure you dont fall for the clubs or balls.....

RE balls

I saw our local shop had the velocity balls in stock now for £20 ... They also stock lots of other makes too.

Yup same here, last time I popped in for a look they had a massive collection including Titleist, Srixon and my beloved Wilson DX2. A very good shop for the up and coming golfer, they're really doing their part at bringing golf to the masses.

I can understand those who prefer more expensive brands but for me it's Dunlop, Tesco, Primark every time. A quick foray into a blackberry bush to retrieve a ball can ruin clothing. I'd rather snag a Dunlop polo shirt at £4 than a Ping or Nike at £30.

I've nothing against Dunlop etc and they seem to represent fantastic value for money. Personally I prefer adidas, UA and loving the new FJ range. I tend to just save my pennies until I can afford one or use pro shop vouchers and birthdays and get the shirt I want

30mins ago the missus announced that she bought me some waterproofs for Woodhall....[bless]

So I'm now the proud owner of the trousers, jacket AND wind top.... and a brolly which was all of £2.50 :p

If it all does what it's supposed to then it's a bargain at £40 for the lot, if not then I'll be flogging 'em in the For Sale section

Yes the new FJ range is very nice I must admit, not stupidly priced either, UA is good also, been hit and miss with Adidas some of the stuff was cracking and some wasn't so tend to just buy that on special offer now.

Just topped on the old dunny atire today two pants for £14 and some water proofs with my employee discount cant complain

As an aside, got a couple of Slazenger shirts and pair of trousers from HID for my birthday this morning. First impressions are good, lightweight, good feel and the trousers seem like they're a water repellant material. Going to give them a test run this weekend probably. Think they're from TK Maxx and weren't expensive when I saw them in there. I was secretly hoping for a white and orange puma shirt, perhaps she got her cats mixed up! :D

I have this horrible vision of Dunlop kit taking over the world due to economy issues!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.

I reckon everyone on tour must have a giggle at Westwoods terrible Dunlop attire. I am not a golf snob, but Dunlop gear is a step too far!
