Have just come back from a weeks holiday in this cracking remote wee village in the North West of Donegal. This course only cost £22 a round and well worth that for the views over Sheepshaven bay and Portnablagh.

This course is a cracking links course ,short but well worth the visit if you are ever in the area, its kind of gets overshadowd by it's neighbour Rosapenna which is about 20 minutes drive away.

The greens were like elephants backs in places with bowls in them as well which never gave a straight flat putt they were true and fast just what you want.

Here are some photo'sof the course.

Wow Steve,£22 for such a links gem is a great deal! Glad you had a good time, hope to finally meet you for a jar soon too,as i've just moved 10 miles away from the Dee!

Thats an awesome part of Ireland - golf heaven.

It sure is Ken took a trip up to Downings to have a look round Rosapenna as didn't have time to play it this time ,it will be well worth the trip when i'm back next June thats for sure.

Deke glad to see your back, are you joining Aylth ? a cracking course.

I met a nice chap called Alan at middlebank driving range, also a member at Scotscraig,he had me thinking about joining your track! Who knows, the choice in Perthshire/Angus is really amazing!

And still you never made it to Portsalon ;)

Dunfanaghy is a cracking course as is Narin & Portnoo and the two courses at Rosapenna are cracking then you have Portsalon too. You could come here for a week and not get fed up with the courses. I really am spoiled for choice.

Played Rosapenna last summer and it was fantastic - only problem was an old timer who played on the seniors tour was 79 and he beat me by 3 shots and I played some great golf :-/ so I got cought for the first round.

That was the course that got me playing golf last November. Nice course although there is a dangerous part where lots of fairways cross. My dad got knocked out on it the year before. We got it for £15 being winter and as part of a society. The weather was excellent and the course was playing like it was spring.

It is THE worst place I have ever been with the wind and the rain absolutely no shelter but on a nice day it is one of the best

Went round in 76 which was 8 over ,played it from the whites it took a while to get used to playing in meters instead of yards.
The good thing was i only had a half set as the young lad had his clubs in my bag as well ,its the best i've hit the ball in 2 years at least.
Was a bit windy going out but the wind died at the 7th ,still it wasn't that easy as i'd never played it before.

Sorry, not cross but close proximity with little separating them. It was the fourth where my Dad got knocked out by someone driving the 11th.
