Hello from sunny France. We took, well when I say we, I mean I, took the opportunity to book in and play Granville. A brilliant Harry Colt, he got about a bit didn't he, links course. A few raised teeing areas which gives great views over the course. One tee means you can see right out to sea and the distant headland. Greens were perfect. Putts rolled on the grass not leaping and bobbling like at home, at the moment. Some very interesting holes not least the 110 meter 17th, which was all uphill and a solid thump with an 8 iron to get to the green. I've no hesitation in recommending this course if you are in the area. Well worth the green fee. 90 euro at the moment. I'll post some pics when I get back.

I played Granville 13 years ago on a summer holiday to Normandy. I loved the course and the clubhouse (car park is fine!)

Upsatirs in the clubhouse with members and visitors eating the excellent food. Had a blast that day and the weather was lovely too!
