Dubai Desert Classic

I just have this sneaking feeling that Anthony Wall is going to have a really good season this year.
He is already showing signs a really good consistency and could probably add to his lonesome title to date.

Just as I write this he double bogeys his last hole to finish at -2...!!!! DOH..!

What putter is monty using, looks like the Oddyesey number 7 belly putter but I thought he used Yonex. Or is it Yonex and my eyes deceiving me?

most of the pros have a different or no deal to use a putter Harrington uses a Odyssey wood uses a scotty just 2 that come to mind westwood uses a different one every day.
Mike

He does use Yonex putters though he's clearly not tied to one putter manufacturer, & he's had many putters over the years & this is probably one of the belly putters he's used in the past.

Many of the Pro'schop & change putter when they become stale with what they are using.

Everytime i see Monty play he has different putters

Seen him use Rife,Scotty,Mizuno and Odyssey he might find one what works again one day

Yeah guys i understand about putter contracts I know its such a personal choice no one gets into contracts. I was just wondering if it was the fangs (Ihave it) in a belly version (no I dont want it) Last couple of times I have seen Monty play he has had the Yonex mallet.

I tested the Yonex CP3 i think it was called and for a blade it was super. I rate it as good as any i have ever used. RGUK has it at the moment but I am due to get it back soon. If Vig doesnt want to borrow it i may put it in the bag for the summer with a new grip on!

Just watched Rory get his first away, what a great swing he has, almost impossible to beleive the lad is only 19. Doing well too so far!

I would love to see him win it tomorrow, I just hope he can re establish momentum early on in proceedings whilst finishing his 3rd round, and then relax enough during his break to allow himself to come out firing on all cylinders for his final round. I think we will learn tomorrow whether he has the natural 'winning instinct' which can't be taught, if he does then the world is really at his feet.

Looks like Rory has the Dubai classic within his grasp, its only his to lose now. 4 straight birdies. The boy is playing well!
