so I am just putting a few tunes on the iphone for the drive to Blackmoor.. its changed about 5 times.

What is your music/media of choice? Radio, CD, mp3, rock, chilled, mixture

Depends on the time of day, between 2 and 5 in the morning I would listen to Alex Lester on Radio2, If I take any CD's for a drive it's a local artist/producer who perormd 60's classics, some Billy Fury (the BF Story) and maybe some Paul Weller. If my wife is in the car she puts on whatever she likes and to keep the peace I normally go to sleep whilst she drives.

I have a 500GB usb hard drive connected to the head unit. Filled with various stuff but its mainly some form if Electronica thats on, whether that be ambient or hardstyle.
Mediterranian ambient (try Sunlounger/Roger Shah) is superb for driving to.

At night it has to be Floyd, or at a push Jean Michel, or Tangerine Dream.
During daylight hours I'am a bit more upbeat, say some Scorps; Trousersnake, /DC, or even Motorhead.

Top Gear did a Driving Tunes CD a few years back - I think it was called Ice Cool tunes or something. It is actually a great CD with some excellent songs on there. Not a definitive list, but it starts off with Mr Brightside by the Killers and Don't Stop Me Now by Queen... to give you an idea of the kind of songs on there!
