Yeh, used it the odd time at the long par fours at Dunbar when into a strong wind.

tough shot,i have had mixed results,best one was when i slowed the swing right down swung right through the ball an it went fairly straight, that was when i was just trying things out not sure if i have the nads to do it in a comp.

I hit driver off the deck quite a lot i find it easier to control than my 3 wood or rescue.

Murph, grip it slightly open face and open stance and it will go, as mentioned above very hard to make one go left

I bet I could manage it.

In the good old days of Callaway Warbird soleplate (1990s), I'd often hit driver-driver.

Especially at the Warwickshire....

Never even considered it since they became "melons on sticks"
