I always used to take a photo of all the balls in play at the start of a round but they banned mobiles from my course. Now I just hand draw them at the start of the round on a bit of paper. The lads I play with can't be trusted and according to these forums 90% of golfers are cheating barstards. I also find it best to check peoples bags to make sure they are using 14 clubs before tee off in case they've chucked in an extra wedge.
Has drive4show created a new account??

How funny is that :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: You need to get yourself a magna doodle, believe it is allowed under the rules and more upto date that the old crayons and paper.

Amazing the poll shows 2/3rd saying they do, never played with that many people who have (or maybe it is me not paying attention :o )

Maybe this poll result is an indication of the level that people play at? The people that play in competitions that have a starter are told to identify their ball to their playing partners at the start of the round so probably tend to keep on doing it out of habit.

Final comment on this thread.....

If messing about with mates, really don't care if they declare their ball on the tee as a lost ball will generally result in just dropping another and playing out the hole etc.

In a competition there is a simple and quick procedure on the 1st tee. Mark and identify your ball to your playing partners, exchange scorecards, wish them the best of luck and off you go.

If anyone chooses not to do this then that is up to them but I always follow the above.

if only.

You keep me coming back guest100718, you're the gift that just keeps on giving.

Number of times I quote or mention you after your "final" post #89....??

Have the conviction to stick to what you say.

Or just be the little troll you clearly are.

Not sure what you mean by that, I have made plenty of comments on threads. Perhaps you can be a bit more specific please?

And I love the irony of you accusing someone of being a troll, you are the king of the pointless one line sarcastic comment.

Now this is the sort of majority that should have been required for Brexit, not some 2% that can change the other way in the passing of a week.

Well crow, I for one am not happy with the result of this poll so I demand a second poll coz the English should not of had a vote anyway.😁👍
