Disaster on the whites!!

keep your chin up Dan, i played for my handicap about a month ago and my first scorecard returned 103 (SSS 70). An 84 & 91 quickly followed and I was allocated a handicap of 15.0

you've been mentioning birdies and pars in your rounds so there's a decent game in there somewhere...

It's amazing the power of the card in your hand! The biggest thing to work on is mental in this game and boy do I know that now!

I'm throwing myself back into the deep end, playing in another medal on Saturday afternoon :)

Hopefully I can get rid of these pull-hooks in the mean time

I shot 86 on Tuesday off the yellows, 106 today off the whites. It's just the way this silly game goes, and it's the reason you will keep coming back each time.

Similar. I shot an 85 last weekend for my best round of the year so far, feeling good and looking forward to this weekend. This weekend I played in 3 comps..... 96 in the medal, 94 in a trophy the next day, and then got knocked out of a foursome trophy yesterday..... The Sunday trophy was a bizarre one, went out in 51, playing some of the worse golf ever, then came back in 43, including a 7 on the last, playing some great golf on the back. This game is just really good at making you feel good, then chewing you up and spitting you out, only to give you a little tickle to rekindle the romance just when you're on the brink of insanity.....
