It’s said they had only been in the country for 3 weeks, so I imagine no roots would have been payed in that short a space of time

She has suddenly become very helpful and wants to meet the parents of the lad.
Coincidence her immunity has been taken away.
ProsecutionImmune from what? She back in her home country ......

Having to stick to the law in the countries she visits .
I hope she is extradited to face what she has done.
Her Diplomatic Immunity has been revoked according to the news.

I didn't understand this, surely everyone's diplomatic immunity is revoked after they return to their own country?
I don't think it's been revoked, it just ceases to apply in your own country; she's now in her own country so it doesn't currently apply.
Surely the more pertinent question is whether the USA have agreed to waive her right to it, therefore opening the door for her extradition?
His career is screwed outside of the US now though. If the status quo remains, which we all expect it to, then hopefully we will put out some form of arrest warrant for her. She will not be able to leave the US, he will be marked by all and sundry as being linked to this. He can hardly go under the radar now, can he?Her husband is some kind of spook, may be NSA, may be CIA. Not sure what type of immunity that gives them but I imagine the US will not be sending them back here any time soon.
I thought her husband hadn't registered at the Court of King James as a diplomat, and that she never had the right to DI?
I thought they told police she had DI in the initial interview.I thought I saw it reported differently Brian; I thought our side had accepted she had it, otherwise why ask the USA to revoke it?
If he never had DI that means she didn’t.
So she lied to the police about leaving
I heard the police are treating her as absconded and on the wanted list.
They have asked for an extradition as we have a treaty with the USA.
It was an accident but by running she has just acted like a coward.
Well if that’s the case ,that’s even worse .You're making a big assumption. It could well be that she did not have the intention to leave but she and her family were whisked away at very short notice and they could well have had no choice in the matter.
