What do people think of these clubs? pros got a set in at the moment and they do look quite nice, im tempted

Excellent clubs, i use 6 - 9 plus have a PW, AW and SW, great clubs easy to use, good control, dont leave home without them !

these are the clubs I had custom fitted, they are quite meaty. I use 4i through to pw. Very forgiving.

Not yet, gonna wait till after my orthopaedic appointment on the 10th as if it turns out I need an operation or something then I'll wait till after that, but if I don't then I'll go in and have a hit with them, I'm gonna try and get a custom fit, thing is the set he has is 4-sw and I think I'll only want a 5-sw so not sure yet

Can you not go and hit some balls before the appointment and make him an offer or get him to reserve them. If you need an op you can always let him flog them anyway and then get fitted once you are better knowing you get on with them

I've got the Diablo Edge irons (5-SW), had them for just under a year now and I love them to bits, as others have said they're very forgiving and they really do feel lovely to hit. When I got mine I went in to see our pro with 4 sets on my shortlist and these weren't even one of them, but he suggested giving them a try alongside the others and they came out on top by a fair way. A bit chunky and ugly to look down on at address I suppose, but that's not something that I care about if the contact with the ball is good at the end of it.

Incidentally, they're today's deal of the day on Fore24 at £220 for 5-PW, which although it's missing the SW is a lot less than I paid for mine.
