Di Matteo - Sacked

Yep, RA had to be seen to at least give Di Matteo a chance after what he did for the club in the wake of AVB's disaster; but I always had the feeling that he would be judged far more harshly this season than perhaps would be warranted or expected of any other manager, and that RA was just looking for an excuse to punt him.

It does seem to becoming a poisoned chalice. Will anybody really look at the job as anything other than a quick payday?

Stupid. Football has gone daft.

Went daft a long time ago.

Chelsea are simply a revolving dooe for Managers - can't understand why anyone - including Pep - would want it.
Scolari wins the double - gets the push
RDM wins the Champions League - gets the push

What the hell does Abramovich want?

Apart from a sense of perspective.......

I'd have Di Matteo at Stoke instead of Tony Clueless any day.

RDM at leat knows how to get a team playing football rather than the kick and run crap TP plays.

Apart from the cash, there is no good reason to take this job. Your days are numbered before you start.

I hope Pep goes to Man City in the summer instead. Chelski and their Russki mob boss don't deserve a man of his calibre or the football he would deliver.

Football is just crazy.

That said, Chelsea were poor last night. Juve absolutely outplayed them.

And Hazard? That boy really knows how to dive. What a cheat.......

The players, and all of them should be utterly ashamed of themselves as they and they alone have brought this upon RDM.

They are supposed to be professional footballers and paid handsomely for the privilege and as such should be able to adapt and play to any formation and give 100%, can they all honestly say they have done that in recent weeks without looking sheepishly to the floor, no!

2 wins from 8 isn't and wasn't good enough with such talent on the pitch even with the injuries and omissions from the first team squad but some of the defensive errors, laziness, poor tackling, marking and lack of goals has nothing to do with RDM once these prima-donna players are on the pitch!

RDM brought us untold glory in the wake of AVB and Roman was never sold on taking him on, even after bringing the European Cup & FA Cup to the bridge, so, as soon as he wobbled it was always going to happen, the price of such demands placed upon management at the bridge because Roman does not accept weakness or failure.

Were not Barcelona and never will be Roman!

Rumours are strong that Raffa is coming until the end of season and if that is true he will not get a very good welcome, the only thing he'll be good for would be to reopen our Tapas bar.

I think the decision to sack RDM is not only a sad day for RDM who has Chelsea in his blood, is a nice, honest guy but also Chelsea as a club in the eyes of the football world in general.

Get found guilty of racially abusing a fellow footballer - keep the captaincy.
Win the Champions League & F.A. Cup - get the sack.
!

Go figure.

Abramovich has made CFC an international laughing stock - he's a disgrace.

Just another one through the revolving door of the CFC managers office.
The simple truth is win EVERYTHING EVERY YEAR or your gone.

He was found not guilty in a law court so factually incorrect, a kangaroo court doesn't count and that charge was for bringing the game inot disripute, but Rio can say and do what he likes though?

If Raffa comes to the bridge I think football will witness the biggest revolt ever known, the only trouble is that the new breed blue followers will fill the seats anyway.

Lots of hardcore old school Chelsea not happy with Roman, we'd rather not have the wealth and all the managerial changes.

45 years a Chelsea supporter - even though 70% of the team impossible to like over the last few years & owner who doesn't know the meaning of integrity .... This latest is the final straw. I'm sure Chelsea won't notice my absence :) but I can't follow this club for another single day. Hope RDM finds a club who values his qualities (& they kick the s**t out of Chelsea in a very important game).

Sulk sulk sulk ...

I never said in 'a court of law'. I was referring to the FA, to whom he is answerable;

Oh, and why mention Rio?
