Are you being deliberately obtuse, or are you really this thick?
In your post #6, which I've quoted already, you referred to the King of Scotland, James I, uniting the thrones.
James I of Scotland was deid, pushing up the daisies, rotted in his ceremonial garb, an ex monarch by 150 years by the time this event took place!
I suggest you get yourself a good history book ( one which actually includes some Scottish history ) and read it instead of taking all your information from Wikipedia!

So now you resort to personal insults, I guess it had to happen at some point rather than use reasoned debate.

I think you choose not to understand what I said. When I referred to James I you know I was talking about James I of England, he was also the King of Scotland, everyone else seems to have got that bit. It was James I of England that united the thrones, it had to be. I didn't need Wikipedia, I used that to show you the History. How many times do I need to repeat that fact?

As any further debate on this will be pointless and have the possibility of descending the thread into further put downs, I will leave it there.

He is a leftie anti monarchist who probably thinks that Royalty have no place in the future of Scotland.
He is giving them a decent time scale to get packed though.

I tend to agree with him but not strongly.

Ah OK - so he has nothing specifically against Prince George or previous King George's - he's just stating an anti-monarchist position. Well he ain't going to get his way in a united kingdom is he so I would expect a Y vote from DC.
