Hi Guy's, I've been busy with other things and haven't been on as much as I would of liked, but I'd like to share my news with you.
I did what Harrington did I defended my title. Sunday seen our club championship and with a field of 32 out there was stiff competition. !st round I played very steady, but held nothing. I was round in 3 under. 2nd round, the rain came and I was out with my rivals. The guy closest to me started with a 7 so that gave me a bit of braething space. Then he hit me with 3 straight birdies. History was about to repeat itself on the back 9. 4 shots clear with 6 to play, then our 16th came. I hit my drive into the water same as I did last year. He made par were I got a double. 2 shots clear with 2 to go. I managed to make 2 par's to finish it off and I once again am Club Champion. Never in a million years did I ever think I'd win it once, let alone twice in a row. A great feeling. I'll have to buy myself a new jumper now with Clubchamp08 on it.

I didn't get D/Q'd. I just finished last of those that submitted two cards which meant I was placed above the no returns and those D/Q'd for playing off wrong handicaps and not signing the card.

Congratulations CC07 and now CC08, what a fantastic achievment. Winning it once is a distant dream for most of us but to win twice in a row is an amazing feat. Really well done.

Cheer's guys and Ali, yes I never thought I'd ever win it never mind twice, but we can never tell with golf. I've been playing so badly this year and Saturday was a nightmare, I didn't even have a flutter on myself, but my son did and he won 50quid.
Thanks again for all your kind words.
