Decisions, decisions - mobile upgrade time :)

The Samsung is only class leader in the class of Android phones.

In the class named 'smartphones' the iPhone 4S is still the daddy. iPhone 5 will probably be announced soon, so if you can hang on, I would do so.

Never tried a Windows Mobile phone, have you!!!!!!!!!

Just had a look at the S3, spec looks insane but I don't really like the design, not for me, saw the HTC One X aswell blimey its big! Wouldn't get one purely because that is not pocket sized imo but the beats audio does look awesome

Gotcha, but I meant that the S3 looks a bit plastic (cheap looks IMO). The Note just has that more glossy look to it. I realise they are plastic (material costs being a greater concern than weight).
I really like the idea of the larger screen for video playback and a decent camera as, having a wee boy of only 2 1/2, the camera gets used a lot.
I use it to watch movies when travelling to and from the mainland on the plane every other week at the moment. Casino royal looked great last week. :)

Got me the Xperia S in the end after trying the Samsung S2 also. Tried them out in P4U then went to Tesco and got the same deal for 5 quids a month cheaper. Happy with it so far, but first ever fancy jobber I've had so can't compare. Not much between the two, Sony one looked nicer, that was the deal breaker.

My sausage fingers are trained to bashing massive keys of my 3510 so it's going to take some getting used to.

Have Sony sorted out all the firmware issues that plagues the older W series? I had a couple of them (W800i and W880) and they both suffered a firmware failure that caused the whole device to crash. When Sony were contacted the response was.... "Yeah we know about that!" - That is all....
