Hi guys,

I'm working away tomorrow and stopping at the de vere in Blackpool. It has a PGA course attached. Do you know of any cheap ways of playing the course. I know there are those vouchers for two but that won't really save me anything.

Any help is appreciated. Also if you know of any local courses to Blackpool I'm all ears.

Yeah but unfortunately in the tiny small print well hidden on the vouchers they are a free round accompanied by a full paying partner basically green free/ 2fore1 vouchers.

The ones in the link I sent arent unless theyve changed the T&Cs on them recently.

Ah soz didn't check the link on my iPhone I get all confuzzed!
The ones I received were a con IMO a free round advertised should be that not a free round if someone else pays..

No thats not right....

Me and a mate used two vouchers last week both got a free game if there is 4 of you you can only use 2 so they become 2 for 1

Play fleetwood or st Anne's links.

All the other courses are soggy as hell! Especially Stanley park and staining lodge.

Cheapest way to play de vere would be to stay at the hotel, think its £89 with a round and brekkie. Otherwise, tell the pro shop you are pondering membership, they offed me a round at £15 lol

Spotted you are staying. Speak to reception then.

You won't get any bargains at St Anne's old links, Great course though.

If you've got time head 15 mins up the coast to Fleetwood. It's not in the same class as St Anne's but it's a very good value Links, and much better than the de Vere course Herons Reach.

De vere is a nicer course to play, but fleetwood is always in great condition
