See on sky news website he has got 12 months probation order & 80 hours unpaid work for assault .. A guy decked his mate & knocked him out , goodwillie then squared things up .. whats ye'r thoughts on this .. your mate is standing there hands in the pockets & some guy drops him , what do you do ?

also if you start a row & you then get your ass handed to you do you complain ??

i cant figure the judge in this & maybe the instigator got a sentence aswell (not reported) but if you start a scrap & sum guy does you over one to one .. tough .. the cctv is on sky news website ..

Okay you prob couldnt with your job but if someone decked your mate what would you do .. or if you decked a guy what would you expect his mates to do ?
 
Trouble seems to follow him.
He also had a rape charge against him dropped last year.
Seems like par for the course for a certain type of professional footballer.
 
Having seen the video...that bloke deserved more than a footballer having a go at him. If someone just sparked my mate out for what appears to be no reason with a sucker punch he would get...as best as we could dish out...a royal ass whooping.

Do one to others n all that.

This is what i was getting at , sorry guys but nobody cept dappadondave has answered my question realy, i wasnt asking if goodwillie was right or wrong... i was wondering what you would do if you were in that position & some one decked your mate .. just have a peek at the at the video & imagine its your mate geting decked , what would you do ? id post it here but i dont know how ...

otherside if you did deck somebody in a moment of madness or what ever , would it be wrong to expect a slap back ?

I haven't seen it but from how you describe it if sumone attacked a friend of mine and it was unprovoked then they should get the same treatment.

I know violence doesn't solve anything but if you go around attacking people for no reason you deserve everything you get in my eyes.
