So there I am just coming back from a bit of an all-time low and now i have bust my wrist. Not painful most of the time onlyon certain turns of the wrist. Three weeks now and honestly not a lot better. Any time I try more than a half swingI feel it so really onlyputting for me right now and getting sir crazy. Doc says giv it 3 more weeks
Anyone else had this?
Any point paying for physio treatment/advice?

Cheers

Did you injure the wrist golfing? I have been practicing quite a lot over the winter and hitting off mats, especially if they are a bit worn, can take its toll after a while.

Yes, pretty sure it was golf - on course and/on rangr.. Must have started doing something wrong in the swing (and I was hitting them so well!) - Inflamed tendon now. probably a form of RSi

I hope it recovers soon for you.

I had some very early indications of a mild pain in the wrist, i moved my practice to a forward / rearward part of the mat on the range which was less worn with more give, this in itself has helped.

Do as your doctor says.

I had ligament and nerve issues in the same wrist. Played on and made it massively worse. I missed most of the 2012 season because of it.
