Since the start of our winter comp. I've come down from 21/hc to 16h/c.

Sorry if this sounds boastfull but I had a dream round today with a pb of 82,so feeling cuffed.

After embarassing myself with the last two scores of the season one a 112 and one in a senior open of 120,its strange how this game can change.

I've won our winter comp. twice before but cant seem to get many good scores in the summer when the conditions are so much better.

Only downside is this is just a winter cut in h/c and I go back up to 21 at the start of another season.:(

Not if your club has declared non-qualifiers even if qualifying competitons conditions exist.

I thought that if qualifying conditions exist then a club has no authority to declare comps non-qualifying..??

If a comp is played over a measured and SSS'd course then handicaps can be adjusted accordingly...
Or am I completely wrong..??

Just to clairify

When our season ends we play a winter comp. up to xmas, best four rounds counting (stableford) play anytime.

We get cut if you score over 36 points, only one temp. tee at the moment 60 yards farther forward, playing of the yellow tees, par 71 sss70.

This cut in h/c is just for the winter comp. then we revert back to our official h/c. at the start of another season.
