Culling!

Is it time for golf clubs to consider an annual cull of older golfers?
It seems some, presumably younger forumers would be in favour.
We could also ban them from driving, entering supermarkets and any other places they get in the way of younger people.
Incidently I was young once, " quell surprise".

Oh for heaven's sake!

Golf was invented to actually provide an area for those that would be 'culled' to go without breaking the law!

Why do you think most Golf Clubs are stuffy, rules driven, conservative places!

It's the young upstarts that are actually the cause of all the friction!

Clubs should take their money, but restrict their playing rights so that 'proper' members can still enjoy the course as it should be, but not have to suffer deprivation from having to raid their pensions!

PS. Thank heaven for bank cards! No need for them to search around all their purses, pockets and anywhere to find the exact change for the cost of their Epsom Salts, cat food and a couple of other items in supermarkets! Saturdays should be 'pensioner free' days!

You're still young, with an awful lot to learn.

An acceptable time to start drinking is a fixed point - 5 minutes after the last putt is sunk.

Agreed. That's why they call it the 19th hole.

Oh thats when the drinking starts, but Drinking all day and all night when finishing at half 11 would render most like steven hawking by 12. If you start at 3, finish at 7 you can have a few beers at the golf club, meet the lads at the cricket club and then go to town. Thats my logic anyway!

We should follow the example of the natural world.

Just watch any of Attenboroughs programs on Africa. The Lions will pick off the antelopes that can't keep up with the pack.

Should adopt the same in golf, if one of the fourball can't keep pace then the young un's hiding in the bushes are allowed to pounce.

I think I may have come up with a solution to slow play as well :)

That's a very good idea.

Not going to work. Half the pups are that overweight they would catch nothing more than a cold.

Well, I've been thinking about taking up bowling...

I did that three years ago.

Bowls is much more enjoyable than being stuck behind a four ball of 30 year old fat lycra wearing waddlers who lose about three balls between them on each hole, are oblivious to everyone else on the course, shout across fairways about their 'pre shot routine' and how their phone tells them it is 230 to the back but the pin is 26 on................then proceed to duff it 20 yards.

......and breath.:ears:
