As per the topic - Just stuck it to the Aussies at Lords!!

Wonder if Glenn McGrath wants to amend his prediction to 3-1 now? He truly is an a-hole!

I caught the last 3 wickets at lunchtime on the box. Flintoff bowled really well, I wouldn't like to stand in the way of one of those!

Much prefer seeing someone bowled rather than caught - the look of Ozzie despair when the stumps went flying is great.

Spent a year in Oz, their sports fans are intolerable with their overbearing superior smugness, make the English fans look truly modest in comparison! ;)

Freddie will be sorely missed by the 5 day game after this series :(

Indeed he will. As Homer mentioned, he bowled for 2 hours this morning with a dodgy knee and still took 5 wickets whilst bowling at a consistent 93mph! Think what'd he'd be like fit :D :D

I have faced him whilst playing local league cricket around Preston. It's really strange but I always thought his brother was the better player. Also played against Steve Harmison around the North East when he was in his late teens. He was a*se twitchingly fast and didn't know where he was putting it. A pretty nasty combination as an opening bat. Oh, and these were on local league pitches as well, certainly not nice flat pitches the Tests are played on.

Sorry about the name dropping.
