Golf Ball Prices

As part of my winter practice I wanted to hit 100 balls at the range once a week from Oct to March. I called at both of the closest driving ranges to spaek to the manager to get the best deal. AG and another one. The guy at AG driving range was no help.

The other range have the below prices.

50 balls £3.50
100 balls £6.00

Loyalty Cards

5 credits for £12.50

10 credit's for £23.00

They done me a deal for 5 x 10 credits for £100 , saving £15 for the bulk buy.

If I had paid each week it would have cost an extra £44.

So again it pays to see what the best deal is and I now know I have no excuse for not getting to the range at least once a week as I have prepaid for my balls.

Hope this recession malarky doesnt close the range down...

At my range if you put £40 top on your range card in one transaction they actually credit it with £50. Its £4.50 for 85 balls (£5 for non-members for only 75) and £4.50 for 100 balls midweek before 1.00pm

Got about as much chance of getting a deal at our range as you have of getting a ******* from a Nun!!

£3 for 75 balls but they're mostly shite.

Wonder why I don't go often?

Where is that? Aylesbury golf center? The balls are the worst ever there.

Local practice area is ideal and free!

Thats also good if you can hit the ball straight. There was an area I used to go to but I would hit 25 balls then go and collect them and only be able to find 19-20 plus am a lazy git. I like to hit them and let the wee guy on the tractor collect them...

But not much good at 6.00pm in the dark

The only plus side of working shifts is that I can hit balls before back shift or night shift. I can still hit balls just now after early shift, although granted that will change very shortly when darkness strikes about 4pm!

If I put £50 on my membership card I get £100 credit on the range. I think £6 normally gets you 100 balls peak & 120 off peak but whatever it is I get half price. Saves me about £150 a year :D

My range prices are 100 for £6 or 50 for £3.50. But pre pay on the score card swipe card system and it saves you £10 over the period costs £50 up front, also gives 10% of food & drink in the bar. I'm not a big fan of paying out alot upfront though!
