Hats off to the green staff at our place.
The course looked fabulous this morning. All the fairways are a lush shade of green and were cut in their diagonal stripes. Greens were a pleasure to putt on. No stodgy bunkers, they were all raked and fluffy.
How is your course holding up this Autumn?

In excellent condition - greens were lovely this morning ,couple of wet areas due to traffic around the new drainage but course looks lovely

Bit wet, understandibly and greens hollow tined in last 2 weeks, but still in great condition, greenkeepers doing good job.

Ours has been closed most of this week due to the wet weather. With more rain coming down today and due to continue overnight, it's not looking good for tomorrow's stableford.

Greens are awesome and even though they were hollow tinned in August and dressed, they have just micro tinned again. Fairways all cut and tee areas good. Only places showing wear are pathways and around the most used side of the Tee boxes

Most of it is in great condition, or was yesterday, with just a handful of very wet spots. Expect it has got a lot worse for todays rain. Theyve knocked trolleys off for a week but as were on clay its gonna be pretty heavy now until spring.

On the plus side theyve been planting lots of new trees (and removing some of the conifers on the course), the two par 3s on the front 9 have both had some heavy planting which will only improve them in the long term (albeit will take a little while to feel fully established)

Our green keeper baffles me at the moment. The greens are better now than they have been all year.

In the summer, slow, bumpy, horrible.

Go figure

Lack of watering in the summer ?

Surprisingly good considering the amount of rain we have had in the last few days. This time last year the greens were full of holes after being blighted by disease but now they look in really good shape.

Given the battering, especially the wind, it was in good condition. Greens putted well and no water in the bunkers. The drainage works the club did on the 12th, 13th, 15th and 16th really starting to pay dividends. Not too many leaves in places you'd expect to go, even off line. Happy. Shame I played like a clown
