Course closed - rain

I love being a member of a fast draining golf course :whoo:

Same here. Full course open (always is) and mostly in terrific condition. Just the odd bit of casual water on the fairways.

Just had an email from the club to say our course is closed and todays round of the Championship Qualifying has been cancelled. Hopefully tomorrow will still go ahead and we get the chance to have an 18 hole qualifying for the Championship.

Exactly the same with ours. Been pissing down all day too so can't see how they'll get it open for tomorrow. Anyone ever had a club championship postponed? It's my first one, so have no experience.

open on full tees and greens, no restrictions but players are being asked to walk along the edges of the fairways with their electric trolleys or drive in the rough in their buggies.

Yesterday there was a charity competition and in my opinion the course was only open due to the fact it was a charity comp. Lots of standing water and the river that runs through was at bursting point. Luckily no rain over night 90% of the standing water has dissappeared and the river levels have dropped by about a foot.

Have got my fingers crossed that Eyemouth is open...I dont mind the rain!
Came second in the greensomes last year with tattiescone - we want to do one better this year!

wooo - it was open and even bigger wooooooooooo for our third place and 20 notes to spend in a pro shop

Big Val you saved a .1 on the handicap today:whoo:

Played in brutal wind and rain at Leven Links today, course was in great nick just a shame about the golf. Still managed to win the medal and a few quid for my efforts, back out tomorrow for another medal and the weather looks a whole lot better:thup:

Suppose big man but hey you got to play to get cut too and it will happen (eventually). Well played today and fingers crossed we get out tomorrow but I'd be surprised as it ain't halted all day
