Countdown...

Never mind Castle Stuart its only 2 sleeps to Machrihanish :),hope the weathers better this time compared to when i played it before.

Can't wait. Hate to tempt fate, but since I got my driver shortened, I've only missed about 3 fairways.
Another net under par round and 38 points today.
It's getting worrying.
It will all go wrong on Saturday in the the 1st medal no doubt.

I'm really looking forward to it. I've never golfed up in Scotland, so that'll be a new experience for me.

My golf at the moments not to good. I had my best round last year in December, then had my appendix out in January, and have only played 3 times since, and the first time put me back in hospital. So not in the best shape for CS, but still got another month to sort things out.

;)

Got Machrihanish, Walton Heath, Powfoot, Rothesay and Spey Valley before Castle Stuart. Loads of golf before I can get excited about Sneckie!

Sorry should no have kept this as castle stuart only with the Machrihanish meet and the mighty gm taking on ping at walton heath going on as well.

My apologies :D

Well by my calculations its 30 days to go until Castle stuart.

Cant wait.

Hows yor game going for the main event???

Thats all :D

Apart from shanking every approach, spiffingly, havnt been hitting my driver as well in a long time, short and mid irons are fine and long irons are pretty good.
Putting is as normal, happy wih that.
Did I mention the shanks?

Time's flying by isn't it.

Played at Troon Darley last Sunday which was rather dry and firm underfoot, a new experience this year! Got another we trip planned to Gullane a couple of weeks before C S to try and get some more links golf in. Other than that got to keep practicing and play as much as possible at my own place before the big event.

Castle Stuart and Nairn will either set me up for the season or send me to a darkened room with the whale music cd :)

Looking forward to what should be a great weekend.

Well, that's another weekend lost to the weather
Only two more weekends left to find some semblance of a game before the big event :(

Got a game at Gullane next weekend where it will hopefully be a bit firmer underfoot ! Following weekend a rearranged April Medal, then..... :D

If the weather would at least settle down a bit, there might be a chance of a few holes after work of an evening, just to get a bit of rhythm going. But at the moment, it's too cold and wet.... typical Bank Holiday really.

Bouncing down again today, got two weans under my feet and a wet smelly dog! Still its not long now.

Golf season is nearly under way, just a shame out swamp is a complete piggery at the moment. Cant wait to get over to Rothesay to play some golf.

I've got 3 games sorted before the big trip North.
Walton Heath on Wednesday, Hever on Sunday 11th (recce round for the Open I'm playing in May) and a possible game at Bearwood Lakes on Sunday 18th.
