Could tiger have won today if he was leading overnight ?

Nothing to do with fear factor, he just didn't play very well. Which seems to be a recurring occurrence on the last day of a major at the moment.

that's true, thought I heard yesterday that he's not broken 70 on the final day of a major since his return.

I don't think players look for him on a leaderboard any more. In the past on the last day his presence would be a factor, I just think now he's one of the pack.

he could still win a few majors but it's not a given

I think it helps them that he is always going backwards. If he had started with a couple of birdies in the first few holes it would be a different story IMHO.

On his game, he is still better than everyone else, he just doesn't seem to be on his game as often these days.

It really is strange watching him in majors at the moment, for the first 3 days he looks like the Tiger of old but then he just seems to go off the boil. He would never tell anyone, but I wonder what he thinks about it, it's happened too often recently for him to ignore it and he must be conscious of it.
