I see Dianne Abbott has criticised Amber Rudd for describing her as Coloured and AR has apologised for being clumsy in her wording. Why then is it acceptable for people like Dianne Abbott to use "Women of colour" as an acceptable term.

I always thought it was daft terminology anyway. White is also a colour. Everyone is technically a person of colour, with the possible exception of albinos. We are all on the rich Dulux colour chart of skintones somewhere.
