Anyone tried them? Just had a look at them in the pro shop, liked the look of them.
There now on the to try list!
Here's our leaders little take on them...

A close friend has the rusty in a 59* and the black satin in a 53/54 , the rust finish is decorative and comes off within 18 holes, half of the finish fell off before he'd even used it. He was not impressed!

Not for me with that shaft. Saw them in Silvermere and I'll stick to the TM's and then look around later in the year. Not struck on the new TM wedge either so old favs like Vokey and Cleveland start favourite

did they not have a wedge years ago that was designed to go rusty,i have a bag full of clubs that are full of mildew does that count.

Quite a few companies now have a raw wedge in their line up. Not sure if the trusty rusty was the original though.

Watching the pros on TV quite a few seem to go for the raw/rusty heads.

I have been using an old Mizuno Raw Black OX over the winter and it has a nice patina on it but I don't actually want it to look too rusty so I do clean and dry it.

Generally I like shiny clubs but a rusty wedge does look like a bit of neat kit in the bag, makes it look like I might be a deadly a wedge player!.

Although my head says I shouldn't really be able to detect any difference there does seem to be a bit more "feel", like the ball comes off the face a bit more softly.

Rusty surface makes sod all difference to spin - might even reduce it as the rust is essentially loose material on the face.

Reduces glare though, and makes it look like you know what you are doing. Until you hit a shot that shows otherwise.

surely the purpose to a decent wedge is its grooves? so how would rust in say the grooves and surface help, ive read a bit on it, just all seems to far fetched for me. i like nice and shiny clubs, although the anti glare would come in handy.

The mpt10 had a satin finish that wore off within a few rounds, I'm pleased to report most where is around the middle of the club, but I seem to have developed a 2nd sweet spot in the hossle.

Satin/raw finish wedges do highlight your bad shots!

Looked at them again at Silvemere against a Vokey. No contest. Feel like even with my short game I could still do something with a Vokey but the Trust felt heavy and I hated the shaft being so dark. Really off putting
