Clubs cleaning

Cleaning clubs? Don't really do it. If I have a particularly dirty one, I wipe it on some wet grass and give it a bit of a wipe before I hit a ball with it.

Only things I keep clean are wedge grooves by shoving a tee in them when I can remember to do it and I like a nice clean putter!

Only other thing I clean off is any marks on my driver face that make me look like I have heeled or toed one! :)

As for tees, I prefer white castle ones. Gives me an extra 20 yards and an excuse for an argument with wood tee snobs! :D

Wait a minute, let me get this straight. This thread now has two, yes two, pages of replies most of which say the same thing. Surely it's not worthy of that, it's not that difficult is it? :D

Some peeps will reply to almost anything just to get their post count up :D

I find scraping the mud out of the grooves with a fine pointed wooden tee peg very therapeutic. Much easier to do when the clubs have been immersed in warm water.
Do not forget to scrape the mud out of the numbers on the bottom of the irons too. My i15's numbers are etched quite deeply and contain quite a bit of mud if not cleaned regularly. I have hit the odd bad shot due to not cleaning the mud out of them properly because it does affect the swing weight.

Wd40 cleans the metal woods up beautifully- just don't have a fag while cleaning.
