The club sent out an email today regarding a complete makeover of Club Vi and How Did I Do. The email states in part:

"Club Systems say it's a completely new design and infrastructure, and a vastly improved HowDidiDo app and website that will include improved overall performance, updated features and a fresh look and feel, all resulting in a more intuitive member journey".

Apparently they have held workshops for club officials. Has anyone attended and do you have any idea what we might be looking at.

Over the past year (or two?) they have held various UK workshops attended by managers, committee members, comp secretaries etc. At these briefings, we were invited to suggest improvements, tweaks, but I’m very sceptical. Club International were taken over by an Australian Finance Company a couple of years ago, whose income derives from Credit Card transactions. Ever since then, the software updates seem to be heavily focussed on the financial aspects, with golf booking and competition management ( in my personal view) taking a back seat.
Let’s see what transpires.

It sounds a bit disappointing. I actually like Club V1, the system and the app, but a bit of tweaking to make it even more user-friendly would be a good thing in my opinion.
