Club Locker - Do you get value for money?

Out of curiosity are your clubs covered by insurance in your car if stolen?

In the boot out of sight i would think so , but not 100% sure. I have golf insurance , car insurance and house insurance.
One of our members successfully claimed for a new driver when it was stolen from his unattended bag out on the course.

£36 I think last year. I think it's fairly good value. It will take a big bag but as I carry I've room for clothing/spare clubs etc. I can get dropped off or even go on the pushbike in summer and know everything I need is to hand.

It's made my summer golf far simpler and I really get good value for money with my locker. I've got Carrick Neill to include theft from the locker (less than £5) so even if I get it broken into (and we've had thefts over the years) I've peace of mind that it's covered

Do your clubs have lockers for visitors as well or is it just a members thing

Clubs I'm playing at the lockers are all for day use of any player for shoes/clothes etc and if you want to leave clubs/bags it can be stored with the caddy master in a secure storage area

we have a separate visitor locker room with its own showers, toilets and lockers ,20 that clubs fit in and 50 just for valuables.

I like the idea of having a locker but we don't have any.....
Being able to leave the clubs where I play most of my gold would bebuseful.
I doubt we'll ever see any....

That's some investment in visitor traffic but looking at the course I'm not surprised its a sought after course for non members to play

when they built the new club house made sense to have those facilities. RD could badly do with similar.

We have no lockers at ours and it's one of the only things that twist my pickle.

I'm currently not driving and the facility the leave my clubs there would ease things greatly.

At my old club lockers were £15 a year and would take a trolley bag (not tour) with ease and had a shelf area for consumables/clothes/shoes etc
