Club Locker - Do you get value for money?

£20 at mine, fit my stand bag, shoes and spare balls. Plenty of space for what I need really. The only reason I may not get one this season is that keeping my clubs at the club stops me going to the range on the spur of the moment.

Is that garage/locker just yours or is it housing everyone's gear? No fear of losing a wedge or putter?

We have 3 up & over garages no different in size to a household one, each one takes 6 trolleys (3 each side) fully laden so we just park them up and plug them in, I know the other occupants and they're all great so no problems and if anything did go missing, I'd only have to interrogate 5 other people :smirk:

On the other side there is also a large triple size garage where personal buggies go and get parked up and charged, the club has some very good facilities, you'll have to come and play and give me a score on our showers, towels are provided :D

Interesting

I've enquired about a facility that will take and charge electric trollies and all I got in reply was a strange look! I did mention that more and more golfer's are using them and then there's the guys/girls that need the wee sit on type ... In short I thought that I had started growing horns!

You can't beat a forward thinking Committee

Now you know that I'm daft enough to drive down so I'll remember that invite

£50 a year for mine, but as I only have a 1 bed flat there simply isn't any room to keep all my gear at home and I don't want to keep it in the car either.

Fortunately I can happily fit trolley bag, stand bag and 3 pairs of shoes, plus other bits and bobs like practise tube etc...

Plus those who have a locker also have access to a trolley shed where you can lock your trolley up.

Makes it really easy for me to just rock up and play as everything is there.

Mine is £30, up this year from £28.

I can get a tour bag in an a pair of shoes in the bottom shelf.

They stuck a plate on with your name on last year which I thought was a nice touch.

Got all sorts of crap in mine at the moment. Only keep the clubs in it over summer.

How did they know my name :D

Are these not standard issue north of the border ? :D

Our lockers arent big enough to hold a bag of clubs, only clothing shoes etc. Cost £20 each. Currently working on plans to get them replaced in a locker room refit but not proving easy

Was actually thinking about this on the way home from the driving range today. I pay about £25 for mine, and can put a bag in no problems, if the woods are taken out of the bag and stored in the locker seperately...but all I use mine for is a practice bag of balls and 2 wedges. I need to start using it more, but have a fear I'll put my clubs in there, and then go to the range/another course without my bats!

Enjoy swinging my clubs at home too much to leave them at the club.

Chip foam balls pretty much every day at home so need to at least have wedges at hand.
